I have another app with fancier tools. Yet somehow I always end up in this app. Sketches Pro makes it easy to get going without a lot of on-boarding. It feels natural. My favorite is the water color brush, particularly the option to add water.

I’ve been using iPads since they became available. The best drawing app was Harmonious, no longer available as an app., only online-no saves. Now Tayasui is the best from an artist’s point of view.

Hello Sir I have been using this app since so many years I have until recently noticed that with my stylus I am not able to draw any thing in the Blank page. But I have purchased pro during 2018 when I was in USA AND after coming to India also I was using this app but now I am not able to do any thing . Please check and please clear the lock from your side Thank you

I used to use sketches school but when (for some strange reason) it stopped working, so when I switched to tayasui I was blown away by the amount of new features there were. So 15/10.👍

After having sketches pro , they decide to switch over to a subscription payment? Deleted… by the way I want my money back for paying for pro

I love this program for its ease and its range.

when’s the next update? everything is s- far so good but layers keep crashing and the DPI threshold is lower than the regular sketches. It is also not letting me customize the size to a square while it lets me on the unpaid version as well?

Thank you for continuing to update this app. I like the additions you’ve made like smoothing lines, brushes, lock transparency, etc. There’s one feature. I just can’t figure out how to use and would like t o learn. It’s the Clipping Mask. I’ve tried to find instructions online but haven’t been able to find any. If you could add a link or some “how to” information, I would be so grateful!

I have been using this app for more than a decade. I’ve tried other apps to deliver illustration work, but this one is the most user-friendly and by far my favorite. The pro version is inexpensive, and I can save to my photo library or my own cloud storage. I can also directly send an image via text, which is probably true of others. I just find this one excellent. Thanks so much for doing a great job guys! Keep up the good work.

This is the most best art app ever the brushes are beautiful and if you are in artist you will love this app

This app is amazing! I would recommend this for beginners to drawing, the only reason this is 4 stars not 5, is because I can’t customize the pixel, or the dpi size, otherwise, it’s amazing!

Tayasui Sketches Is A Really Great App, But There Is Some Problems That Are Unable To Fix. First Is Every time I open the app, it never loads which makes it overwhelming. Can you guys please add a bug fix on the next update?

I’ve been using the program for 7 years and as a professional watercolorist I use the watercolor brushes to do quick studies, reworks of paintings, and student critiques…Awesome extension of the iPad thx!!

I love this app and I would recommend it to everyone. I’ve used this app for a long time and found it easy to figure out, it is so fun to use and simple to make cool art. The ruler is very useful (for me at least, I couldn’t live without it). The only recommendations I have are minor things like adding a few new fonts (there isn’t enough) and allowing a slightly further zoom. Other than that I’d say that this is by far my favorite art app.

This is the first drawing app I found years ago and have stuck with. I love everything about it. The brushes. The design. The folders. The tutorials. I am an artist and use another uhhh pro creation app but time and time again I find myself using Tauasui Sketches first when I start an illustration project. I recommend it to everyone who asks what I use for drawing. ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks.

So I suffer from severe severe depression, and being able to draw makes me feel better. This app allows me to do so with no limits. It has actually changed my life for the better. I'm not one of those bots just saying that to boost the algorithm either. I’m a real person who loves this app so frigging much and u will too if u love drawing as much as me.

This app helped me as a beginner digital artist, I definitely recommend for beginners and experienced artists alike! It has just the right amount of instructions and free reign! Super easy to use formatting and easy to read as well. Five stars from me!

So i like this drawing app a lot, it is very useful. But recently all of my past drawings have not loaded and when I tap on them it says “couldn't load this file”. I restarted my device and nothing fixes it. Please fix this so I can access my work.

First off, this is a great app on the iPad to draw or paint on for any artist. However, lately the copy and paste feature, along with the selection knife has been having issues. For one, it now selects in a complete square which it never done before. Also, it no longer copies and pastes anymore. That’s a problem if you’re trying to draw or move certain parts around. Great app to draw on. Just something I have noticed lately and thought I need to bring up.

I would like to be able to add more fonts that the ones that are just in there

A unique fun drawing app that creates images that I can’t do with Procreate or Fresco. I really want to use this more, but it’s slow and buggy and honestly frustrating. Any suggestions on making it run smoother? Thanks!

Addendum still five stars but/: how on earth do I import my own custom font??? Gave it five stars because I can’t live without the leaky pain pain PE and PEN… Some tessellating tiling properties would be nice… I can’t find a program with a leaky pen that will let me save it as a tilable rectangle like you do in fabric design....... also I would like a better option on fountain pen size voice recognition and I’m too lazy to erase… Spatter option would be nice… i’ll come back with more suggestions later especially if you give me .01% of the profits ha ha… For some reason one of my favorite painting program is this one: I guess it’s because that fountain pen works pretty good without a stylus; I guess I have yet to find a program that implements pressure sensitivity the way I like.

This app used to be my favorite. But then something went wrong and now I can’t scroll through my library. I feel like I’ve lost everything. I tried emailing them but never got a response. I’m really sad about this.

When I recently got a new iPad Air and installed and launched this app, I realized that it felt much slower and heavier than before. In particular, the strokes feel like they follow the pencil too slowly, unlike native Notes app or other sketch apps. I don't know if it's due to calibration or post-processing, but the subtle slowness makes it less enjoyable to draw. It's also disappointing that the app doesn't support Apple Pencil Pro, even though it's an older app.

Simple, elegant, very capable

I have the pro account app and have noticed it freezes while I’m using it and I have to close and reopen the app to continue. Sometimes it saves what I’m doing, usually it doesn’t. This started happening after the recent update to iPadOS 17.6.1. I’m hoping this can be remedied easily. Otherwise, I love this app and I want to continue using it.

I don’t typically write reviews, but just wanted to put this here in hopes that it gets solved. I’ll start by saying I’ve loved sketches and used it for nearly five years! I’ve illustrated multiple children’s picture books using it as my primary software and I still find it to be incredibly intuitive while also powerful and nuanced enough to allow me to experiment creatively without losing access to the tried and true heart of what I initially loved and rely on for my work. When it works well, it’s hands down bar none my go-to. That said, since about a year ago it’s been glitching terribly often and crashing / freezing up. My iPad has plenty of space and is a recent model pro, and I always make sure the app is up to date. I am so sad to say that this crashing and glitching has, at times, caused me to lose work / have to restart compositions in progress. Unfortunately, unless these glitches are fixed, I’ve decided I’ll be switching to Procreate as I move forward in my work. Sketches is the perfect blend of power and simplicity, and if it happens to become sound and stable again I hope to be able to switch back.

I cannot find any of my prior work on my device or in iCloud. I do not like the default iCloud back up or explanation that it exists for my "protection." This makes me very angry. Why complicate? We are not ALL computer-geeks, nor do we wish to become experts on every possible 'thing.' How many user id / password / special requirements...what changed THIS TIME ? / what just happened that I did not intend ? This program is one among many that I use. Too much time is spent on housekeeping because of what the APP-Geeks did... because they could... not because it of a functional necessity. Enough is enough ... go make something NEW if you are bored or need job security. That would be great. Let me use the APP and love it... Martha in Tallahassee FL

well I love this app a lot. it’s so easy and fun to work with. only thing is that like, sometimes when your in the middle of a drawing, it will randomly close the app and just take you to your home screen. then, when you go back to your work, it will be like, either half started over, or it restarts the whole thing. it it SO ANNOYING. otherwise LUV this app.

The longer I use this app, the more glitches pop up. I recently reported a glitch where an entire square cell of my drawing will spontaneously go completely blank on one layer - and never comes back, no matter what I do. Now I have a new glitch — I can only draw straight lines, unless I move the tool very slowly, in which case the tool mark lags about a half-inch behind where my pen is touching the screen, and as soon as I stop moving the pen, or try to change direction, the last segment of the tool mark automatically goes straight. This would be great if I only drew straight lines, but I don’t. THIS GLITCH AFFECTS EVERY TOOL, EVEN IN NEW DOCUMENTS
